Types of Extensions

Extensions can be of different types depending on the extent of their functionality. Read the definitions below to understand the different types of extensions available in Veritran Marketplace and how they interact in the development of your app.

  • App Templates: These extensions offer a complete user experience within a specific business or industry. They can be designed for specific devices or channels or be omni-channel. App Templates integrate best practices and common use cases, and they include pre-built screens, business logic and processes, and may also incorporate other extensions.Screens

    App templates require connection to the client's back-end services.

    For example, the New Wallet P2P + P2C App Template is a complete ready-to-use wallet app that includes functionalities such as: user authentication for logging in, card registration, QR payments and money requests. This App Template includes the QR payments P2P + P2C Feature Template as a dependency.

  • Feature Templates: These extensions solve a specific business or cross-market functionality with a limited flow of interaction. They are designed to be integrated into a pre-existing application (created from scratch or using an app template) and accelerate its construction. Feature Templates may be designed for specific devices or channels or be omni-channel.Create an App

    For example, the QR payments P2P + P2C Feature Template adds the functionalities needed to receive money and make payments using QR code scanning. This Feature Template is included in the New Wallet P2P + P2C App Template as a dependency.
