Basic

In this section, you configure basic attributes of the component selected. Refer to the chart below to learn more about some of the attributes that may appear.

CSS Class

Specific CSS or style invoked from Style > Application Themes and applied to the component. Click on the field and select one of the styles available in the list.

Profile Option

Option through which you can define the look and feel of the app for each different app user. Profile options are configured in VTOmnichannel. Enter the desired profile option.

Icon

Icon placed within the component. Click on the search button (magnifying glass icon). Once the Pick an image window opens, select one of the images available. You can also type the image name.

Icon Color

Click on the square-shaped colored field and select any of the colors available in the color picker to change the color of the icon included in the component. You can also change the color by typing the hex color code.

Value

Text displayed in the component. This field is applicable to button components. You can add plain text or a reference to a parameter or register. Click on the text or world icons next to the field to add an entry to the translations dictionary. Then, click on Add. Once the window opens, complete with the key that identifies that text and its translations. To learn more, read Translations. The languages that will appear available for translations depend on the languages selected in the app settings.

Submit

Form that includes the component as part of it. This attribute is only applicable to components that are part of a form such as the button component. Enter a form ID. The ID must be identical to the ID set in every component that is part of the form so that the component processes every step.

Enabled

Option to define whether the component is enabled to be clicked the user or not. This attribute is applicable to button components. Click on the down arrow and choose one of the two values in the drop-down menu. Select true if the component can be clicked or select false if it cannot be clicked. Disabled buttons will appear grayed out in the app. If this attribute is not configured, the default value will be true.

Accesibility Text

Alternative text. Add an alternative text describing the component to visually-impaired app users. The text will be read by iOS Voice Over or Android Talk Back.

Visible

Option to define whether the component is displayed in the app or not. Click on the down arrow and choose one of the two values in the drop-down menu: select true so that the component is visible in the screen of the app or select false so that it is not visible. If this attribute is not configured, the default value will be true.

Scroll

Scrolling option available if the height of the columns is higher than the height of the component. This attribute is applicable, for example, to data grid components. Click on the down arrow and select one of the three options available in the drop-down menu: yes, auto or no.

Cols

Number of columns. This attribute is applicable to, for example, data grid components. Enter a number.
