Advanced
In the Advanced tab, you can configure advanced attributes for the components within each screen of your app. This section contains a variety of the attributes that may appear for configuration depending on the component selected. Read the sections below to learn more.
Tooltip
You can set the different attributes available to configure a component's tooltip. Refer to the chart below to learn more.
Enabled | Option to determine whether the tooltip is made available in the app for the selected component. Click on the down arrow and choose one of the options available in the drop-down menu: select true to enable the tooltip or false to refrain from applying it. |
Message | Enter the text to be used as tooltip for the component. |
Color | Click on the square-shaped colored field to change the tooltip text color. Select any of the colors available in the color picker to change the color of the icon included in the component. You can also change the color by typing the hex color code. |
Font Size | Enter the desired font size for the tooltip text. |
Font Family | Click on the down arrow in the drop-down menu to select any of the fonts available in the font family. You can also click </> and type the code to set the font name. |
Background Color | Click on the square-shaped colored field to change the tooltip background color. Select any of the colors available in the color picker to change the color of the component’s background. You can also change the color by typing the hex color code. |
Position | Click on the down arrow and select one of the options available in the drop-down menu to set the position for the tooltip with regard to the component: Left, Top, Right or Bottom. |
Sprite
An image sprite is a group of images put into a single image used to reduce the number of server requests.You can configure the attributes applicable to one of the images within an image sprite of the selected component. Refer to the chart below to learn more.
Background Image | Click on the search button (magnifying glass icon). Once the Pick an image window opens, select one of the images available. You can also type the image name. |
Background Position X Position | Enter the position of the desired image within the sprite with regard to sprite's X axis. Then, select the unit of measurement. |
Background Position Y Position | Enter the position of the desired image within the sprite with regard to the sprite's Y axis. Then, select the unit of measurement. |
Background Size Width | Enter the width of the desired image within the sprite and select the unit of measurement. |
Background Size Height | Enter the height of the desired image within the sprite and select the unit of measurement. |
Note
In the Background Position X Position, Background Position Y Position, Background Size Width and Background Size Height attributes define the unit of measurement by clicking on the down arrow and selecting one of the options available in the drop-down menu.
Simulator
You can configure different attributes that allow you to visualize in the simulator how the app would look like.
Important
The attributes set in this section will only be visible in the simulator. Therefore, any changes made in this section will not appear in the generated and published app.
Value | Value to be included in the component for simulation. This attribute is applicable to, for example, Text Label components. Enter the desired value. It will automatically appear in the canvas. |
Background Image | Image to be applied in the component's background for simulation. Click on the search button (magnifying glass icon). Once the Pick an image window opens, select one of the images available. You can also type the image name. It will be automatically applied to the component's background. |
src | Component's image used for simulation. Click on the search button (magnifying glass icon) and choose one of the images available in the list to apply an image to the chart. You can also type the name of the image in the field. |
